Functional Training

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, each with their own goals - athletic clients, pre and post-natal women, as well as others of varying fitness levels.

With each of my clients, I incorporate a blend of strength and cardiovascular training, yoga and physical therapy. I help clients with goals, such as building strength and improving overall fitness (i.e. weight loss, increasing lean muscle, and nutrition support). I incorporate physical therapy techniques into my work, in order to help clients improve their biomechanics (i.e. range of motion, stabilization, posture, and injury prevention).
Another important part of training is helping my clients identify and actualize their health related goals by giving them the structure and support they need. This can be anything from regular check-ins to keep momentum going, to customized nutrition and fitness programs, depending on my clients’ needs. I take a holistic approach and help clients identify strategies to integrate health into their daily routine. Instead of focusing only on objective measures, I look at the big picture. I always strive for my clients to feel stronger and more capable than when they started.
